Winery Review: A pretty, floral wine, with a rose petal note underscoring the rich pomegranate and sweet plum flavors. The fresh acidity is balanced, and a light spice note lingers on the finish. (The Vintage Cellar, Blacksburg)
My Review: This was an interesting wine. It had a big nose that was very perfumy. It had a lot of black cherry and blueberry in it that was interesting. The actual taste was mid bodied and had a nice dry finish that wasn't very tannic or acidic as I expected. It was a solid wine but didnt really give me the punch that I long for in these deep red wines.
