Winery Review: Shiraz has a unique jammy fruit character that is well represented in the Sweet Red. Both on the nose and on the palate, jammy fruit, like strawberries, cherry pie and red licorice, entices the senses and pair well with cheeses and desserts. (The Vintage Cellar)
My Review: This wine was not my cup of tea either. The nose was an explosion of fruit and tropical fruit at that. It just smelled like it was going to be a bomb on the pallet. Once tasted, this was confirmed but it was way too sweet for my taste. I wouldn't have this wine...
